Samantha Russell, an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, boasts a decade of experience focused primarily on child and adolescent psychiatry. Her unwavering dedication to Psychiatry has seen her serve in various healthcare settings, advocating for the mental health requirements of children and families across all stages of life.
Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude with her nursing degree from Creighton University (while earning All-American honors as a soccer player). She further enhanced her expertise with a master's degree in Nursing with a Specialization in Psychiatry from the University of Kansas. Her comprehensive professional journey has fostered a profound understanding of the distinct mental health challenges confronting today's youth. Beyond her work with young people, Samantha's experience extends to roles where she delivered care to adults with psychiatric needs.
In her mission to nurture the potential in every child and family, she is devoted to formulating holistic, individualized treatment plans that cater to the distinct needs of those she cares for.
Away from her professional duties, Samantha cherishes time with her family, appreciating the solace found in exploring the great outdoors, embarking on travel adventures, or immersing herself in an engaging book.
Samantha is currently accepting New Patients ages 5 years old and up. She treat a wide variety of Psychiatric conditions including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Phobias, Panic, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Disruptive and Adjustment Disorders, Eating Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
